// Cincinnati Baby Announcement // Ault Park //

When you’re planning for baby, the announcement is often high on the list of to-do’s. Instant stress kick in? Well, it doesn’t have to be that way. I personally love to keep announcements casual and fun (especially if this won’t be your first). When including a toddler (or multiples) it’s always nice to cut the stress and focus on making memories. This session was a great example. We knew baby #1 would be on the run (literally the entire time) so we planned for bubbles  at the park to attempt to keep her interest.

I always want to capture connection, beauty, and family, while sneaking in intimate moments when I can. Snapping mom looking flawless, relaxed, and stylish while babes are sweet, soft, and snuggled. It’s also important for Dad’s to always feel comfortable, masculine, and never forced to interact in a way that might feel uncomfortable. I want you to look at your photos and feel like yourselves. The best most put together while still being casual version (haha). How do we accomplish that you ask? Simple – great planning before the session, beautiful light, coaching to feel comfortable in front of the camera, and magazine worthy editing. Even models don’t have that perfect look (its photoshop) 🙂

Just for fun here’s a look back to our first baby session…can’t wait to see baby #2. Toddler parent tip : don’t go into the session with exceptions! Your toddler will be crazy. Just expect that. I’ve never had a toddler ruin a session, but I’ve had parents upset the entire time when their child wasn’t living up to the exception they set (and it was tough). If you’re happy, everything will be fine. It’s your photographer job to capture the moments and set the stage, which is why choosing someone you click with is so important.
