The signature session includes 2 really unique features!

1. What I call fine art rendering, which means there's a bit of fantasy and imagination added to your images in my shooting and editing process. My degree is in fine art specifically 2D media with an emphasis on painting and mixed media. In other words I paint with light in your images! It's really cool.

2. The emphasis is on the story of motherhood. Helping you to feel glam, connected, strong, and express how you would like to be seen as a mother.

Typically standard sessions will last anywhere from 30-45mins. Time varies depending upon things like children's ages and cooperation, time of day and finding great light, and if we've worked together in the past. I work until I know I've captured a complete collection. Some families want to get in and out quickly which is perfectly fine.

Usually for a standard session you will receive anywhere from 75-100 retouched, frame worthy images.

Unfortunately, No. After many, many years offering minis and never being happy with them I've realized it just doesn't fit my style. I love to capture real connection and you can't rush that. I don't want to make that kind of work and it's completely ok with me if you just want to snap a shot for the Christmas card! I get it and there are tons of photographers that will be happy to do that for you. Seriously, no hard feelings.

Light retouching means I will go in and softly enhance the face as needed (under eye circles, signs of aging), soft body enhancements (slimming, mole removal, etc), and remove small things like light switches, spots in the carpet, or other small things catching the eye. Images will be retouched at my discretion.

My schedule is pretty flexible, so it really depends on how many sessions I have booked and where you decide to shoot. If you choose an indoor location that is a lot easier because we won't have to worry about weather. Consider your home , indoor studio, or a hotel depending upon your session type.

After your date has been reserved there will be a $75 reschedule fee unless I am able to re-book your date with another family. Please keep in mind that I have to hire childcare and since I shoot natural light I only book sessions during the prettiest hour of light so I typically only schedule 1 per day. Sometimes I have to turn families away due to availability, which is why I really can't reschedule without notice.

We can work through it! Let's discuss some ideas and options. I wouldn't want you to look back on this time and wish that you had photos to look back on. We can figure something out.

Yes! Photoshoots make wonderful gifts. I'm happy to work with you to come up with something. Also, maybe you don't purchase the session, but consider gifting albums, prints, and other fun photo additions too. This can be an option for grandparents, siblings, and even as a baby shower surprise.

Nope! Since I'm only offering digital downloads sales tax is not applicable. There are no added charges or hidden fees.
